Tangram / Grades K-12Tangram is a private, nonpublic specialeducation day school that addresses thelearning, communication, functional, andvocational needs of students with intensiveautism.Riverside / Grades K-12 Our private, nonpublic, special education dayschool focuses on readiness for public school,college, and/or careers for students withemotional disabilities, autism, and intellectualdisabilities.STRIVE / Grades K-5STRIVE is our specialized program serving studentscurrently K-5 with their learning, communication, andfunctional needs due to their intensive autism. Our“school within a school” is located at the Riversidecampus. The STRIVE students receive a separatelydeveloped instructional and treatment program, yethave opportunities to socially benefit from their otherpeers at Riverside. Hunt Valley / Grades 3-12Our private, nonpublic, special education dayschool focuses on readiness for public school,college, and/or careers for students withemotional disabilities, autism, and intellectual disabilities.The Arrow Center for Education SchoolsFor children in the foster care systemwhose birth parents have had their rightsterminated by the courts, we matchfamilies with the child and facilitate theiradoption. Traumatized children rely on survival skillsto get needs met, which often results inepisodes of acting out. We providecaregivers and children with new, healthycoping skills. We support foster parents as they welcomechildren who have suffered from abuse orneglect into their family, and we provide theentire family with services and support. Family Centered Treatment (FCT) is anintensive in-home family therapy model. FCTPractitioners work with the whole family toempower them to discover and use theirintrinsic strengths to sustain positive change. 3Larissa Potiomkin has 17 years of experience innonprofit administration, focusing on fundraising,donor stewardship, and event planning. Shedeveloped a constituent database and hasexpertise in data-driven marketing and publicspeaking. Her goals include optimizing systemsand fostering collaboration for philanthropicefforts.Initially an orchestral bassoonist with the LouisianaPhilharmonic Orchestra, she transitioned to artssupport after Hurricane Katrina. Larissa hasworked with the Houston Symphony, HoustonGrand Opera, and Houston Ballet, and led teams ata university and a social service organization. He has led Arrow Child & FamilyMinistries for over 16 years, first as COO and now asPresident and CEO, expanding services to over 4,000 kidsand families annually across 20 offices in two states. Hisleadership emphasizes high-quality outcomes, nationalaccreditations (ECFA, COA, NCASES), and integratingspiritual components into treatment. Since becoming CEOin 2014, he has ensured compliance with federal standardsand manages an $80+ million budget while securingpublic and private service contracts.Under Scott’s leadership, Arrow has surpassed safety andstability standards for children. His commitment extendsbeyond Arrow; he holds positions such as executive boardmember of the Texas Alliance of Child and Family Servicesand Chair of the Committee for Advancing ResidentialPractices.
